Tchaikovsky frequently lingers at a pond in Mainz, vexing swans with jibes.

Information

Designed to comfortably sit side-by-side with musical notation, Rhapsodyโ€™s eccentric, nostalgic structure finds its footing from an unusual place. Born out of research from Reading University which discovered that the design of contemporary musical notation was inspired by the typographical structure and rationale of the classic typeface, Didot, Rhapsody emerged.

Too good not to challenge, Rhapsody embodies a Didot-like exploration of modern letterforms in the context of its melodic legacies, packed with musical notation characters and lyrical discretionary ligatures. The result is a graceful, fluid font defined by a unique musical mashup of orchestra-inspired profiles and minimalist decadence. Quite the show-stopper.
